2019 Enhancement Activities and Planning Workshop preps BUCS for incoming academic year

The Bicol University College of Science (BUCS) conducted its 2019 Annual Enhancement Activities and Planning Workshop last June 13 and 14, 2019, with the theme “BUCS: Celebrating 15 Years of Sustained Drive Towards Innovative Leadership, Empowered Studentry and Committed Workforce”.

 

The said activity was aimed at coming up with a five-year development plan of the college, in response to the changing educational landscape and the spatial and infrastructure requirements needed to compensate the increasing student populace.

 

It also targeted to discuss and share inputs about the President’s 10-Point Agenda, Fiscal Administration and Governance in Bicol University, Institutional Accreditation and Institutional Sustainability Assessment which are all valid inputs for quality assurance, and the Future Directions and Prospects in Research and Extension Activities of Bicol University.

 

During the event, Atty Daryl A. Redoblado, University Legal Officer, was invited to discuss the BU Legal Policies and Sanctions. To further help the college on preparing WFP and PPMP, Ms. Pritzie S. Rey, Administrative Officer of Cluster III, conducted a workshop on Work and Financial Plan and the Procurement Planning Process.

 

Team-building activities and other enhancement activities were also done which aimed in fostering camaraderie, providing good motivation and an atmosphere of creativity for the both the teaching and non-teaching staff.
