BCAARRD meets new CNSC president

To orient the Camarines Norte State College (CNSC) all about the Bicol Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (BCAARRD), an orientation meeting was conducted last 24 March 2022.

The orientation meeting was held to help newly appointed presidents of the Consortium Member Institutions (CMIs) familiarize themselves with the banner programs and other matters concerning BCAARRD.

The said meeting was headed by the Consortium Director, Dr. Marissa N. Estrella, and the Deputy Director of BCAARRD, Dr. Lester M. Narvaez. 

Furthermore, it was well attended by the new CNSC President, Dr. Marlon Dela Cruz, along with the VP for Research and Extension, Dr. Rosalie A. Almadrones, and the Research Division Director, Dr. Eduardo M. Abad. The program leader of the Queen Pineapple NICER Program, Dr. Arlene Alegre was also in attendance.

The updated Harmonized National Research and Development Agenda – Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources 2022 – 2028 was also presented during the meeting.

BCAARRD is also headed to Catanduanes State University on 7 April 2022 to present the same agenda.
