BCAARRD orients CMIs’ KM Reps

The Bicol Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (BCAARRD) spearheaded an orientation meeting last September 23, 2021 for the Knowledge Management (KM) Representatives of the Consortium Member Institutions (CMIs).

The said meeting aimed to help the KM Reps, along with their institutions, the functions of the KM Cluster of BCAARRD. Also, with the rising number of new KM Representatives, the call for an orientation meeting was crucial.

The meeting commenced with Consortium Director Dr. Marissa N. Estrella who delivered her opening remarks with warm greetings to the representatives present in the event.

Afterwards, KM Cluster Coordinator Ma. Luisa U. Tango discussed her presentation to fully orient the participants. She covered topics from the functions of BCAARRD as a consortium, to the functions of being a KM Representative.

The following agencies were present: Bicol University, Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology, Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa, Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology, Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority, Department of Science and Technology – V, Philippine Coconut Authority – Albay Research Center, Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, Catanduanes State University, and Partido State University.

The meeting concluded with the CMIs’ KM Representatives expressing their full support and commitment to the consortium.
