Endorsed yet again by the Bicol Consortium of Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (BCAARRD), a paper by Mr. John S. Lirag was awarded the Publication Incentive.

The said incentive, funded by the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST – PCAARRD) under the Publication Incentives Program of the institution, will grant Lirag a total of ₱60,000.00.

The paper entitled, “The Pili Knowledge Bank: A Comprehensive Digital Repository Backend for Pili (Canarium ovatum Engl.”, was published in the June 2021 issue of the International Journal of Applied Science and Engineering.

Lirag is an Instructor of the Partido State University (ParSU). It can be noted that another paper from the same university authored by Mr. Leo Constantine S. Bello, received the same award.

The DOST-PCAARRD Publication Incentives Program aims to motivate researchers to publish regularly quality research articles and to promote knowledge sharing by increasing publication record of the Council and the network and facilitate application of the research results.
