BU to expect 3 more bldgs., 2 reopens

Three consecutive ground breaking ceremonies were held at the Bicol University Main Campus, East Campus, and College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) on April 18, 2022.

The BU Physical Development and Maintenance Office (PDMO) building will rise at the Main Campus while the Food Science Building (FSB) at the East, and Crop Science Building (CSB) at CAF.

The blessing for the PDMO building was presided by Rev. Fr. Joseph Salando from the Our Lady of the Gate Parish, Daraga, Albay. On the other hand, the FSB was graced by Rev. Fr. Nison Marantal, Parochial Vicar, St. Gregory the Great Cathedral Parish, and Rev. Fr. Nomer P. Balmaceda of the Diocese of Legazpi, for the CSB. 

Meanwhile, the newly renovated Industrial Technology Buildings namely, the Auto mechanical and Electrical Building, was reopened after holding a ribbon cutting and blessing ceremony at the East Campus.

Actively present in the events were BU President Arnulfo M. Mascariñas, VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Amelia A. Dorosan, VP for Administration and Finance Atty. Joseph L. Bartolata, VP for Planning and Development Prof. Jerry S. Bigornia, and VP for Research, Development, and Extension Dr. Luis O. Amano.
