Another academic year has ended and it gives me much pride to marshal during the 2018
Commencement Exercises, five hundred forty four graduates of the College of Industrial Technology. I also express my deep admiration to the almost one hundred graduating students who were already hired by their Host Training Institutions even before they exit the halls of Bicol University. This is indeed a great harvest of the college not only for the graduating class but also for the achievers in their various disciplines, especially those who exemplified Bicol University's core values of scholarship, leadership, character and service. I urge all of you to remain steadfast to these ideals even as you have left the portals of the university because many challenges await you in the world of work.I know the academic struggles you underwent and the hardships you have overcome which gives me theĀ reason to salute all of you, especially your parents and benefactors who hurdle challenges andĀ difficulties for your sake. Such hardships and struggles are necessary to make your foundations strong and will help you achieve successes in life. Be grateful to all the people who became part of your life and above all thank the Lord for everything you achieved as we in return thank you for making BU College of Industrial Technology part of your life. Finally, as we close the pages of this academic year, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the teaching and non-teaching personnel who contributed to the realization of the goals and objectives of the College of Industrial Technology. May God bless all our endeavors and my congratulations to all!
