BUEMD holds training for Barangay Integrated Development Workers of Guinobatan, AlbayFriday June 7,2019
In cooperation with the local government unit (LGU) of Guinobatan and the barangay officers of Malobago in Guinobatan, the Bicol University’s Extension Management Division (EMD) conducted a ‘Training on the Formulation of the Five-Year Barangay Integrated Development Plan (BIDP) and Homestead Integrated Farming System’ last 31 May 2019 at Malobago, Guinobatan, Albay.
The said activity also served as a Barangay Integrated Development Workers (BIDW) Meeting, where the BIDWs shared their insights and reports on relevant barangay projects and programs.
At the start of the gathering, BUEMD Director Lester Narvaez and Guinobatan Mayor Ann Gemma Onjoco, gave inspiring messages to the activity participants, while BUEMD Training Assistants Mr. Oriel Barce and Mr. Hermie Lizano discussed the training overview and homestead integrated farming system, respectively.
On the other hand, Professor Corazon Naz, head of BUEMD's Development Action Research Unit, tackled the formulation of the 5-year BIDP. The participants consisted of 52 barangay officials, barangay nutrition scholars, barangay health workers, and all other BIDWs. (BUEMD)
