To enrich BUCEILS-HS student learning experience , Batch ‘92 donates ICT equipment 

To address the pressing need for information and communications technology (ICT) resources, the Bicol University College of Education Laboratory High School (BUCELHS) Batch 1992 generously donated eight computer sets, one printer, and one WiFi router to the BUCE Integrated Laboratory School (ILS) – High School department on June 22, 2023. 

Present during the deed of donation signing were Dr. Ma. Teresa M. Abainza, BUCEILS-HS Principal, along with the BUCELHS ’92 alumni representatives, PCOL Antonio Bilon Jr., Eric Albert M. Arroyo, and Maria Teodora A. Loñosa.

This remarkable act of philanthropy is not the first of its kind from the BUCEILS alumni. Back in November 2020, during the height of the pandemic, the Batch 1989 alumni provided smartphones and load allowances to 10 deserving BUCEILS students. Similarly, Batch 1991 contributed four Android tablets, SD cards, prepaid WiFi devices, and power banks to support students’ home-based learning.

The donated ICT equipment will improve the way students engage with technology, opening doors to innovation and fostering digital literacy. With access to modern technology, students can delve into research, acquire crucial digital skills, and unlock their full potential across various academic disciplines. | by Arnold C.
